Wallace Trailers was recently featured as the Dealer Spotlight in The Haul, the magazine published by the North American Trailer Dealers Association (NATDA). We've been a family-owned trailer dealer in Middle Tennessee since 1932, and being recognized by our own industry meant a lot to our team.
If you haven't met us yet, here's how we got started and what sets us apart.
A Family Legacy Since 1932
We're the oldest trailer dealership in Middle Tennessee. William Wallace runs the business today, carrying on what his father built nearly a century ago. That kind of history only happens when you put customers first, so reliability, accountability, and good service have stayed at the center of everything we do. You can read more about our story on our About page.
We just try to treat people the way we'd want to be treated. Focus on doing really good at what you do, go above and beyond where you can, and take care of people like they're your neighbor.— William Wallace
Built to Adapt
We started out selling horse trailers. As the region grew, the people coming through our doors changed too, and today a big share of our customers are contractors, landscapers, and fleet operators. What didn't change was our approach: keep the right equipment in stock, cut down on downtime, and get people back to work quickly.
Where Service Sets the Standard
Our shop is where we really stand out. The technicians here take on custom work that most dealers won't touch, and our in-house service team handles everything from routine maintenance to ground-up builds. A few projects we're proud of:
- 1974 Airstream restoration: a full frame-up rebuild with panel replacement and a complete interior buildout before it went back on the road.
- Custom mobile pizza kitchen: one of several food-truck builds we've done, with custom kitchens, filtration, and water systems.
- Purpose-built fleet trailers for BrightView Landscapes: a project that turned into one of our biggest partnerships.
If you've got a build in mind, take a look at our custom and specialty trailers.
How One Partnership Grew
One of our proudest relationships started with a single conversation. When BrightView Landscapes' fleet began showing its age, we worked with CellTech to put a purpose-built trailer in their hands to test. It held up, and that trust led to BrightView buying more than 600 trailers from us in a single year. We don't oversell. We do the work and let the trailers prove themselves.
The Brands We Carry
We stock a range of trusted manufacturers so you can match the trailer to the job:
- Air-Tow Trailers
- Arts Trailers
- Belmont Trailers
- SureTrac
- Wells Cargo
- Polar King Mobile
- SunCoast Trailers
- CellTech Trailers
